START WITH YOUR PURPOSE

Three questions before you choose a test.

An attractive test date or a familiar name is only part of the decision. Resolve the requirement before comparing booking options.

  1. Who will receive your result?

Identify the university, employer, regulator or authority. Obtain its own current English-language requirement.

  2. What exactly does it require?

Record the test version, overall and skill scores, permitted delivery mode and any result-age conditions.

  3. What booking fits your plan?

Compare official appointments, documents, costs and preparation time after confirming the accepted examination.

EXPLORE THE FAMILIES

Different contexts. Different examination choices.

MOVE FROM RESEARCH TO BOOKING

Make your own candidate checklist.

Registration and documents

Read the provider’s rules for your specific examination and testing country. Match your booking details to the accepted identification. Clarify document changes or accessibility needs before paying.

Fees and test locations

Use live official tools for local prices and seats. Retain the appointment details, receipt and change conditions. A listing on another website cannot confirm your reservation.

Preparation and performance

Use test-specific sample tasks to identify what you need to practise. Familiarity with one English exam does not replace preparation for another exam’s task structure.

Scores and deadlines

Ask how results should be sent and whether minimum skill scores apply. Check the current provider information for result timing and allow time to resolve questions before an application deadline.

COMMON STARTING QUESTIONS

Choose with confidence, one question at a time.

Which English examination is best?

The useful choice is the examination your receiving organisation accepts for your purpose. Compare practical booking and preparation considerations only after establishing that requirement.

Can I convert one examination score into another?

Do not treat an online comparison as an acceptance decision. Use the receiving organisation’s own requirements for the examination you actually plan to take.

Where can I find official fees and test dates?

Use the relevant provider links in the examination cards. Prices and seat availability depend on the test and location and need to be checked in the live booking tools.

Can an advisor guarantee acceptance or a score?

No. Independent guidance can help you understand options and registration steps. It cannot determine a receiving organisation’s decision or guarantee your performance.
